It has been a joy working with my Ukrainian students here in Luhans'k. They are eager to learn and desire to affect positive changes for children with disabilities. Consequently, they would like to have conversations with experts in various fields to acquire new information and learn effective methods of assessing and educating students with special needs. Over the past several months, I have made multiple attempts to connect my Ukrainian students and colleagues with experts in the U.S.
Unfortunately, we are not getting responses. If you say you are willing to speak with a Ukrainian student, please follow through, and if you receive a request from me to share some information, please reply one way or another. The lack of responses from academics and educators in the U.S. is starting to reflect badly on Americans. Please do not ignore my students. They are highly intelligent, articulate and inquisitive. This is starting to embarrass me.
